The GentleLASE® laser system offers an extremely effective way to safely and permanently remove unwanted body hair without damaging the delicate pores and structures of the skin. FDA approved for hair removal, areas that are safely treated include the face and bikini areas, armpits, back and legs.

The GentleLASE® system uses a long-pulse, high-energy laser that emits a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle where it is absorbed. The laser energy is transformed into heat, which destroys the hair follicle and leaves the surrounding skin unaffected. The skin is further protected during treatment by the system's "Dynamic Cooling Device" where a cool cryogen mist is sprayed onto the skin, cooling the upper layers and providing patients with increased comfort. The system selectively helps to protect the skin while effectively treating the unwanted hair.

How many treatments you might need depends upon your skin color, hair color and coarseness of the hair. Since hair grows in cycles, and the process is only effective on hair during the early growing cycle, everyone will require repeat sessions.
